GO! The Campaign for Lehigh

The Campaign for Lehigh is a $1 billion-plus fundraising and engagement initiative. The launch events were set in three locations over the period of three days. The first was a campus music festival style located on the Lehigh campus and put together for the students, faculty, and staff. The second were large events at the Intrepid Museum in New York City. The third took place at the Legion of Honor Museum in San Francisco. Pop-up banners were created to help to activate the locations and tell the story of individuals from the Lehigh University family.

Campaign branded wraps, clings, flags, blankets, swag, and even marching band instrument covers appeared in all three locations.

Lehigh University Campus

The on-campus event was a full-on music festival with headliner Halsey. The site had two entries, a double stage, a VIP round area, and food trucks, all for a night that would kick off the ambition campaign. The attendees were given shirts, picnic blankets, and wristbands branded with the logo theme. Interactive bracelets surprised the participants by lighting up and pulsing to the beat of the music creating a canvas out of the field of concert-goers.

Intrepid Sea, Air & Space Museum, New York City

The event in New York City was held at the Intrepid Museum, formerly a navy warship, and was more of an elegant black-tie affair. The banners would be sprinkled throughout the event space where attendees could meander and read the stories. The university band greeted guests and dawned instrument campaign covers. The team also utilized opportunities to use window clings to skin the site in the GO! Campaign branding. There was even an aircraft elevator that was wrapped in the event theme graphics.

League of Honor Museum, San Francisco

The Legion of Honor in San Francisco hosted the final stop of the campaign kickoff. Special considerations had to be made to ensure the campaign assets did not interfere with the permanent art collection. The banners were displayed in corridors leading guests to a three-course meal and presentation. The campaign logo could even be seen sprinkled on top of the after-dinner cappuccinos.
